I have the same marriages for Roy as you do Helen and the death of Lillian and the remarriage to Doris Carline in 1954.

I also have a child to Roy and Lillian, Alice Bamber in 1931. Free BMD shows the mother to be Cardwell. and the district born Fylde.

I believe that Roy returned to Aus. in 1920 then returned to the UK.

I have a Bamber relative who lives in Aus. who is also related through William and Thomas Bamber.
