I am researching Bamber from Lincolnshire; John Bamber b. abt.1769 married Elizabeth Crawford b. abt. 1769 d. 1832;

Children:
Elizabeth, Sarah, William, John b. 1805; these are shown at the IGI site.
John b. 1805 born in Frithville Lincolnshire, Eng. died Oct 1882 in Highland Twp, Oakland Co, Michigan, and is buried in Oak Grove Cem, in Milford, Michigan. He married Susan Harrison (d/o Robert and Fanny Botchbee Harrison) also born in Lincolnshire Eng, and had children:
John b. 1829, Robert, Joseph S., Thomas E., Sarah Ann, Susan Elizabeth, Harriett L., and Fannie Julia.
(the three sons, and 6 mo old Sarah are shown on the ship's transcription list).

John b. 1805 immigrated from Liverpool to NY in 1838 on the Ship St. Laurance with his family, and I believe came to Michigan soon after that as he owns property in 1840 in Oakland Co Michigan.
John Bamber b. 1829 m. Mary Ann Crawford d/0 George and Sarah (Ralston) Crawford.

The Bamber family came to Michigan in the company of the Thomas Parker family from Friskney, Linc. Eng, and on the same ship. They may have had previous marriages in Eng. and were also intermarried with Orr, Oliver, Cimmer, Squire and Parker families.
Many of these are buried in Milford Michigan at Oak Grove Cem. The Parkers lived in Royal Oak Twp, Oakland County, Michigan and are buried there. (The Oak Grove Cemetery reading is online.)
I'm a Parker descendant seeking more info or descendants from any of these families.
Kathy
