COHOES - Benjamin John Balzer Sr., of Harvard Street, 68, died Monday at home.
Born in Waterford, raised and educated in Brooklyn, later attended the LaSalle Institute in Troy and Cohoes High School.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanne Peltier Balzer; two daughters, Rhea Jamro of Clifton Park and Angele Murphy of Waterford; a son, Benjamin John Balzer Jr. of Mechanicville; his mother, Katherine Bedor Balzer of Waterford; two sisters, Grace Craven of Pleasantdale and Catherine Blais of Scotia; and three grandchildren.
St. Bernard's Church.
