I was born in Bettendorf Iowa in August of 1976 to Jerry Balzer and Pamela Ann Wilson. In 1991 my father passed away. My uncle Ed Balzer was one of my closest relatives during that terrible time in my life.
My uncle and I shared a bond that still to this day can not be broken. I asked him to be the man to walk me down the isle when I decided to marry. He aggreed to take my fathers place as the man that would give me away.
In the latter part of 1991 I moved from Bettendorf Iowa to Arlington Texas. I was never able to stay in contact with him. I have now been engaged to my wonderful fiance and I am patiently waiting to find my uncle so as he can fulfill his promise.
