My great grandmother was Barbara Balzer, her parents are Elizabeth and Andrew Balzer. She had a brother named Peter. They came from Germany probably in the 1870's or 80's. My great grandmother Barbara Balzer married Charles Gass on September 29, 1892 in Racine, Wisconsin where the Balzer family had settled. The wedding took place at Holy Name Catholic Church which is now St. Richards. This is where I lose track of the Balzer side of the family. I know that Andrew died in 1899 and Elisabeth followed a few years later. Anyone with ties or information on this branch of the Balzer family Please get in touch.
