I descend from John Balsley/Balsle/Baltzli, b.ca. 1750 Holland, d.ca. 1810 Pittsburgh?
He and wife Margaretha had known children, Jonathan,b.3-17/1774, Jacob(my line)9-14-1775, Marie 11/24/1777, Elizabeth 1779, John Michael 3-13-1784, Catherine 8-17-1786, George Leonidas 9-5-1787, His twin Benjamin, Margaretha 6-25-1791, Hannah 1-21-1794, Sarah 10-23-1796, Samuel 2-8-1799. Jacob's oldest child Hannah was not born until 1801. They did have a Maria b. 1809. There is a man in Cleveland who has done extensive research on the Balsley name.
