Barbara, I would most ardently like to know where my ancestor Anna Maria Balsley is from. I keep hoping her birthdate will help me connect her. She married James McHenry and had several children, including Katherine Hay McHenry, and she is buried in Pittsburgh. Family papers mention a Theodore Balsley, born before 1836, and a Sarah Ann Balsley who married a Habliston, don't know relationships of these.
Are all the Balsleys in Fayette County descended from one immigrant ancestor?
