I don't know if we are talking about the same Balzer, but my grandmother's name was Anna Balzer Ratzlaff. She married Abraham Ratzlaff of Marion Co., Kansas. Did any of David Balzers children leave Corn, OK?
My family also came over in 8/1874, on the SS Teutonia from Hamburg Germany. I am just beginning my search, and can't verify the dates of marriage, or birth of Anna and Abraham Ratzlaff right now. Don't know if there is a connection, but I thought I'd give it a shot. Was the David Balzer family Mennonite?
