1) Friedrich (Franz) BALZER, b. Aug 1880, m. Anna BERG (or BERGEN) (Anna BERG was a very good sewer who traveled from village to village doing other people's sewing. This is also how she met her husband who was from a fairly rich family. She was the daughter of Jacob BERG and Anna WALL)
2) Helen BALZER, m. David MATHIES
Friedrich BALZER and Anna BERG had the following 9 children:
a) Lena BALZER, b. Feb 24 1907, d. Feb 1990 Russia.
b) Gerhard (George) BALZER, b. Aug 18 1909, m: Mary abt. 1932 and had 4 children: Helmuet, Peter, Frank, Sara.
c) Nicholas BALZER, b. Aug 1910, d. as a child.
d) Anna BALZER, b. Mar 7 1912 Hochfeld Molotschna Colony Ukraine, m. Oct 31 1934 to Heinrich Heinrich HARDER, b. Nov 30 1903, d. WWII abt 1941. They had 3 children: Irmgard, Henry, Annie.
e) Margaret (Rita) BALZER, b. Nov 28 1914 Blumenheim Ukraine, m. abt 1938 in Ukraine to William TJART. They had 2 children: Wowa (Wolfgang), Helmuet.
f) Franz (Fritz) BALZER, b. abt Aug 1916.
g) Peter BALZER, b. abt 1918, d. abt 1930.
h) Mary BALZER, b. abt 1922.
i) Nicholas (Klaus) BALZER, b. Apr 15 1927, m. Jul 24 in Waterloo Ontario Canada to Margaret DYCK, b. Jun 23 1930. They had 3 children: Edward, Esther, David Nicholas.
