My husbands Great Grandfather Edward Balzer came over from Bohemia about 1887, and settled in Steele county, MN. On his death certificate his father was listed as Anton and mother unknown. He married Therese Egedi in 1899. I don't know if this is any connection, but I thought it was worth a try.
