Hi.

I know very little about how to go about this...Some lines on my family tree were easy to go back all the way to 1600something...but this limb is cut off at my adoptive grandparents...I am trying to find both adoptive and biological information. It is thought that it was a family adoption so I'm following the adoptive side since its the only one I have ANY information for.

Okay, my grandfather was Russell Balzer. He was born in 1905 (but I don't know where), died in 1984. He married my grandmother who was from Austrailia whose name was Patricia. I THINK her birthdate is 1916, died 1986. However, that information is off the SSDI and under the name BALZER. They lived (at least from 1950's on) in Berea,Cuyahoga County, OH where they each died.

The only other thing I know is that this couple adopted, using a family friend/member lawyer, two children who were biologically related. A female in 1947/8 and a male in 1952. I am their granddaughter.
