Jim, You posted this tidbit a while back - John Whitacre, transported by Peter Pagan, commander of the ship Elizabeth Catharine in 1676/77. On 3 Mr 1676/7 he listed those persons transported in the current year and transferred his rights to Thomas Taylor or Anne Arundel County. (L. 15, F. 431)

Question: In your research did you find out much on Thomas Taylor of Anne Arundel? I have a Charles Walker transported 3 years later (1680) by the same captain (Peter Pagan) in the same ship (Elizabeth and Catherine) with rights to Thomas Taylor of Anne Arundel.

It looks to me that Pagan and Taylor did business when it came to land rights and indentured servants. Would like to know if you found out more on Pagan or Taylor.
