I'm wondering which Ballou brother married Rosa A. Moyer. I've seen copies of census data that list her in William's family.

       died Bef. 1880 in Per 1880 Census
       married ROSA A. 'BALLOU'
       born Abt. 1841 in Wurinsky PA

       i. ALBERT S. BALLOU, b. Jan 1863, IL.
       ii. EUNICE BALLOU, b. Abt. 1865, CA.
       iii. ALTHEA BALLOU, b. Abt. 1869, CA.
       iv. MARGARET J. BALLOU, b. Abt. 1870, CA.
       v. ARTHUR BALLOU, b. Abt. 1875, CA.

But this source has no mention of Volney at all.
