Don't forget to check - Balentine, Balentyne Ballentyne, Ballantyne, Ballantine Balentyne, Balentine... My family is from the Ballantine of Badoney (North Ireland) - but we had an author who wanted to "attach" some other Ballantines to them - I think that they were actually Ballentyne's. The ...tine and tyne are used interchangeably.. and almost any variation of this name - could - be a relative. These were American Ballantine or Ballentine - (1850-60) as I find out for sure - I'll post a note on GenForum - under one/or more of the Ballantine... names. Ben
