Ballengers - Cobb Co., Ga.

I am trying to find information on the parents of my ggg grandfather William Ballenger. William Ballenger b. 4/25/1812 d. abt. 1848 Cobb Co., Ga. married Adeline Tilly abt. 1838. Children were born in Cobb Co., Ga.: Laura, Caroline, Robert Albert, and William Berdine.
From an article on civilian sites located on the 1864 Kennesaw Mtn Battlefield:

The 1860 Cobb Co. census lists an A M Ballenger 44 yrs old, from SC and Laura, 22, Caroline, 21, Robert, 16 and William, 14.

Listed in same area (Kennesaw Mtn Battlefield) is Dr. John Ballenger, 62, GA., Elizabeth, 60, J S , 22.

In 1851 Cobb Co Tax Digest, John S. Ballinger is listed and son Moore. Moore S. Ballenger is buried in the Citizens' Cem. in Marietta (Nov. 2 1818 - July 15, 1851)

The 1864 Militia List for Cobb Co include a 26 yr old Dr. named J F Bellinger born in Ga.

A note is made in the article that "A M Ballenger was undoubtedly related to her neighbor, Dr. John S. Ballenger".

I suspect that the Dr. John Bellinger listed in 1860 Cobb Co., Ga. is John Ballenger b. 1798 Elbert Co., Ga. d 1866 married Elizabeth Stephenson. Two of their children were Moore S. Ballenger b. 1818 and John F. Ballenger b. 1837.

I am interested in information on any of the above listed Ballengers.

Thank you,
