I am in possession of photo copies of the original Family Bible of Capt. John Ballard. The owners just inherited the Bible and found me on the Internet. The Bible is fragile but intact. We are still extracting information. Some of the facts listed:

married Elizabeth Gibbons (which most of us already knew)
b: 1704       m: 1724 in Yorktown York Co., VA
d: 03 Aug 1787
married: (?) 20th 1724 (Sunday) by Rev. Wm. Francis Fontaine
