I am descended from William C b. abt 1845(I believe it is Charles) and James W b. abt 1843(I believe W=William) Ball who were both born in KY, then both moved to Cambridge, OH.
Their father, William married "Lilley" b. abt 1855 (or Anna or Zula) in KY and he died between 1880 and 1900. Lilley moved in with her son Charles D family (they lived next door to the James W and Alice A. Ball family on North 7st St, Cambridge, OH). They were all known by their middle names. My paternal grandmother was Anna Grace Ball Trax b. 1904 d. abt 1953. She was also known as Midge. The family contains generations of Charles', James', William's and Frederick's names. In the 1880 Census, William C stated he was born in KY, his father born in Ireland, and his mother in New Hampshire. I do not know any other names.
