George Joseph Ball. Born 1885. Died 1961. Educated King’s College School and King’s College London. Called to the Bar in 1913 with First Class Honours.
His Times obituary notes that After working as a civilian official of Scotland Yard he joined the Army on the coming of the First World War and saw service in MI5.
Resigned from MI5 to become Director of Publicity in Conservative Central Office, 1927.
