I saw this post on the RootsWeb board, since I'm researching a related Balfe family. It looks like yours:

"What I have is Thomas Balfe b. 8/18/1810 Ireland died 2/18/1895 in Kilkenny Minnesota. He married a Mary Ann in Ireland. They had 2 children Patrick and Ellen. They emigrated to Canada where Mary Ann died. Thomas then married Margaret Ann Hunt born 9/26/1823 died 5/5/1905 Kilkenny Minnesota.

They had Mary Agnes b. 8/18/1859 d. 6/20/1901, Michael b. 10/4/1860 d. 8/17/1937, Andrew b. 1/25/1861 d. 2/2/1913, John b. 11/1/1863 d. 1/28/1937, and Edward b.? d. 11/13/1927."
