I read your post with interest. It is a long shot, but I thought my SC families might have some times to some of your Baldwin, Norris, Perry.

My Mahala Norris or Morris (writing is blurred) b 1816 in Fairfield Dist, SC married a James Ferguson b 1782-1788 of Fairfield Dist, SC. They migrated across Laurens Co, and by 1840 were in Anderson Dist. By 1850 they were farming in Pickens Dist, near Clayton Mills/Six-Mile area. They intermarried with Baldwin/Bolling and Perry families.

Do you have any Mahala Norris or any Ferguson?

I have the Perry ancestry. Some did go to GA. They lived in Pickens, Laurens, and other districts, in SC
