Hi! The Baldock family re-used names so much that it's very easy to confuse them. I wasn't sure about the "Sarah Baldock" although it was too much to hope that we were research the same person. Here is the information on Robert and Ann (Tayles)Baldock that I've got. I have a copy of the document signed by Robert and Ann. It is dated Apr 11, 1831. Witnessed by Sarah Baldock. Robert is listed as "of the Hamlet of Roxhom" and a bachelor. Ann is listed as a spinster. There are no ages for either of them. I also have a copy of the Baptisms for 1808 for Ann. (the xerox copy is very poor). July 12, 1808 - Ann, Daughter of Matthew Tales (spelling!) & Mary his wife (late Wilson spinster) born July 20th. Now their children: John & Thomas baptized Jan 19, 1824 (Ruskington) - parents Robert & Anne Baldock. Robert is listed as a farmer. Robert baptized Dec 11, 1836 (Ruskington) - parents Robert & Anne Baldock. William baptized Jan 10, 1836 (Ruskington) - parents Robert & Anne Baldock. Walter baptized Mar 6,1839 (Ruskington) - parents Robert & Anne Baldock. Anna baptized Jul 18, 1844 (Leasingham & Roxhom) - parents Robert & Ann (Robert listed as a labourer) Isaah baptized Mar 23, 1845 (Leasingham & Roxholm) - parents Robert & Ann. Henry baptized Feb 21, 1847 (Leasingham) - parents Robert & Ann. Below is some information that I received from a newspaper (Brampton, Ontario, Canada). Harry Baldock, a well know and esteemed Brampton resident passed away at his home on Elizabeth Street on Thursday. He was born in England 83 years ago, being a son of the late Robert and Ann Baldock. His parents came to Canada and settled in the Etobicoke district when he was 2 years old. In 1874 he married Bethia Garbutt and farmed in Grahamsville district. He was a prominent member of the old Grahamsville Orange Lodge. When its members disbanded around 1890, he was presented with the master's chair. Along with other Grahamsville volunteers he served during the Fenian Raids. He was the last survivor of the Grahamsville Fusiliers who went to the front at the time of the Fenian Raids under Captain Lowe Baldock. he was an Anglican and a staunch supporter of the conservative party. His wife and family moved to Brampton in 1897 shortly before he left for the Yukon where he remained for 30 years (returning in 1926 to Brampton). Besides his wife, he is survived by 2 daughters; Mrs. Norman bland and Miss Libbie at home; Harry (Milestone, Sask), Robert, Alfred & John of Brampton. He was also a member of the expedition to the Yukon in the golf rush of 1898. Buried in Brampton Cemetery.
