James Joseph (Joe) Baldock. James Joseph (Joe) Baldock,
93, of Route 3, Lynchburg [VA], died Monday, May 27, 1985,
in Ryan's Nursing Home, Amherst. His wife was the late
Julia Guila Mays Baldock.
He was born in Amherst County[VA], the son of the late
David Nicholas Baldock and Susan Drinkard Baldock. He
was a retired farmer and a member of Indian Hill United
Methodist Church of Campbell County.
He is survived by two sons, Julian M. Baldock and John
W. Baldock, both of Lynchburg; one sister Mrs. Mabel
Gwinn of Oak Hill, W.Va.; 11 grandchildren and 14 great
grandchildren.]
A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Indian Hill United Methodist Church by the Rev. Edward
Walker. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Diuguid Rivermont
Chapel today from 7 to 9 p.m.
Memorials may be made to Indian Hill United Methodist
Church building fund or Concord Rescue Squad
