I would say there is not a connection. But its quite difficult to say at present with the present data.
My Samuel Baldock was born Abt. 1774 and died Bet. Jul - Sep 1839 in Faversham, Kent.
Todate I have two children by Samuel Baldock:-
My line goes via:
John Richard Baldock born Abt. 1798, Kingsdown, Faversham, Kent
I only have the following details for the other son.
James Baldock born Abt. 1799, Kingsdown, Faversham, Kent.
While we are lucky that the Baldock name tends to be isolated in the Kent area, I'm sure that there must have been a resonable high number of Samuels and James about then. So we should treat any possible link with caution.
