Hi Steve,

Thanks for your time. I am confused too over some of the Baldock family links.

I think your death time for Jesse is about right as I have him on the 1881 Census age 85 at Relf Cottage, Pluckley.

I have Thomas Baldock and Elizabeth Baldock m.1795 in Pluckley, though I have no original documents to verify the details.

I also have Thomas Baldock b.1757 and Ann Whittington b.1760 married in Pluckley on 22 April 1781. But (I could be wrong) I have them recorded with a daughter Elizabeth b.1774 who married THomas and was mother of Jesse. It doesn't make obvious sense, and I wondered if Thomas and Elizabeth were cousins (both had same surname) or if one or both were illegitimate or step-children?

This is made difficult due to the lack of sources, and why I was hoping that it might link in with some other work done by other family researchers!

Thanks for your help.

Cheers,
Paul
