I am just starting to research my Baldock line. My gr-gr grandfather, William Baldock, married Mary Toynton (Tointon) in Yorkshire, Eng. in 1850. First child, Susannah, born in Eng., then three children born in New York - Charles (my ancestor)in 1854, Emma, 1856 and Clara, 1860. In 1860 they moved west to Baker, Oregon, where Frederick, 1863; Isabell, 1869; James William, 1874, were born. I believe the Toynton family is from Skendledy, Lincolnshire, Eng. Would like to communicate with others working on related lines.
