I have a couple of pictures picked up at a local auction. One is of Francis M. Baldauf's grave in probably California, I believe he was born in TN. The other is of his "wife?" and 2 children, taken in 1896. I've traced as much as I can to assure myself that these 2 pictures go together, though unsure of the circumstances. The pic of wife and kids was taken by a Los Angeles CA Studio and the wife and kids are found on the 1900 San Diego census alone. Francis is on the 1920 census and 1922 voters registration for Los Angeles CA.

This interested I can scan and link. Can you name the wife and children?
