Hi. I am looking for Raymond Balcom who was enlisted into the Army in 1943. My father in law is looking to reconnect with this old buddy. I have a picture of Raymond from "boot camp". The only other info I have is that Dad thought he was from the Indiana area at that time and that Raymond must have been a boxer of some sort. The reason he thought this is because Raymond always wanted a sparring partner on free time. If you have any information about what happened to Raymond or where he is, please contact me. My dad's name is Robert "Bucky" Paynter. He served with the 17th Airborne Division, 139th Engineer Battalion, Paratrooper Co. C. Thank you soooooooo much!
Raymond would be around 80+ years old today.
