He is survived by his companion of 21 years,Edna Clark of Twisp Wa;two daughters,Judi Kistner of Scappoose Ore;and Debra Barnum of San Ramon Ca;two sisters,Lois English and Nancy Clary.
He was preceded in death by his wife,Elva Mary"Sally"Balcom of LaGrande Ore.,and a daughter,Janice M.Lutts,formerly of Twisp Wa.
Graveside services were May 9,2002,in LaGrande Ore.
