PART 1. I have been posting to this forum for several years and have maintained a web page for our Balch Family of Maryland for more than 15 years now. I have received hundreds of email messages, almost all being positive and appreciative for my more than 40 years of work on our family history files, which contains over 17,000 names. The web page data from these files contains only names, dates, and relationships (marriages, children, etc), that which is readily available from public (and even internet) and other public sources. But, here's the problem... I continue to receive the few requests from people who want their names omitted from the web page. Some want to be omitted from the web page posting, but do not want their data removed from the database itself. This I cannot do, however, I absolutely honor these requests and remove them completely.
