I've always wondered about the Balch's from Texas whom I'm related to. My Great-Great Grandfather is Isaac Cyril Balch. The only thing I know about his family is that he had 6 brothers and sisters.
I recently found out that there was a piece of land that his fater owned (I do not know his father's name) in either New Hope or San Augustine and after the father died all the kids fought over the land and quit talking to each other and divided the land into different tracks and sold it.
I have never met anyone from the other side of Papa Balch's family, so if this story sounds familiar to anyone, PLEASE let me know! :)
