Jeromy, in case you do not know, a great deal of information on the Somerset Balches in the 16th century and beyond, is published in "Balch Genealogia", by Thomas Willing Balch, published in Philadelphia by ALLEN, LANE, AND SCOTT, in 1907. This book is available in the LDS Library in Salt Lake City, as well as other genealogical libraries. (I have a copy, if you have any specific questions)
