Hi Kim,
There are only two participants right now. One joined the project after being tested as part of the National Geographic, but didn't respond to my request for information on his line. He indicates in his profile, however, that his paternal country of origin is Lithuania.
The other gentleman is stuck on his most distant known Balch ancestor who was born in 1810 in KY or TN. He was hoping to use the DNA project to perhaps prove or disprove a connection to the Maryland Balch line.
