I am searching for information on one of the children of William and Rebecca McClelland Balch. They had a daughter Rebecca born abt. 1798/1799 who married Alexander Glenn in White County, Tennessee abt. 1813/1815. Alexander and Rebecca moved first to Washington County, Missouri, then to Milam County, Texas and then to the California area.
Recent information that I have found refers to Rebecca as "Eleanor". Is this a nickname or part of her name?
Also, I need information as to the marriage date of Alexander and Rebecca Glenn in White County, Tennessee. I have not been able to locate the date.
Anyone who has knowledge of the family of William and Rebecca McClelland Balch, please contact me. A sister of Rebecca, Mary Balch, also married into the Glenn Family.
