I too am descended from John Balch of Beverly Ma. I recently visited the Balch house unfortunately it is not opened until after Memorial Day, however the Beverly Historical Society on 117 Cabot St. Beverly, Ma. is open to the public. Inside is a complete lineage of the Balch's, that is available to buy. John Balch, is a descendent and I heard he is available for assistance in researching the family tree. I will return to visit the home, as I live nearby in Lexington. I am looking for info on Israel Balch married to Ruth Dodge and their children. Also Israel Balch (1753-1825) married to Hannah Kimball, and their children. My Grandmother is Thelma Alice Balch of Vermont.
