I am beginning to research my grandmother's connection with the Balch family. Her name was Edna Mae Balch DOB 02/19/1886 and later married George Potter. The names of two of her sisters were Elsie (Foster) and Satie (Wise). She lived most of her life in Utica, New York, I believe. I am wondering if she is the daughter of Joseph, Andrew J., or Marcus D. Balch - sons of John and Margaret Balch. I believe that she was one of 13 children. Edna and George Potter had two children, Ethel who died at 2 years of age and my mother, Ruth Elizabeth who died in 1982. Edna died in September 1973.
