I'm descended from Francis Baulch from Somerset, UK. He and his brothers Charles and Enoch and their families migrated to Tasmania in 1842, as "First Class Farm Servants" employed under a bounty scheme.
The family came from Pitney and Muchelney, and traces back to John Balch, b. bef. 1686.
Happy to exchange information about the Somerset or Australian lines.
