Christine, I found Frank Mortimer Balch, son of Alfred and Elizabeth (Cory) Balch b. Lebanon NH 10 June 1849 m. Mrs. Stella Walker Emerson dau. of Thomas and Maria (Gould Walker). They live at Wakefield, MA and have no children (as of the time of the writing of this genealogy) Alfred son of Abner and Lydia P. (Alden) b. 8 Jan 1806 St. Johnsbury, Vt., d. Lebanon, NH 11 Apr. 1892. He was a twin to Albert who died the same year. Abner, son of Benjamin and Elizabeth (Blake) Balch, b. Keene, NH 5 Mar 1774. Benjamin, son of Andrew and Ruth (Woodbury) b. Beverly, 1747 or 1748 Andrew, son of John and Elizabeth (Ober) b. Feb 27, 1706-07. Died near Keene, NH, date not known. John, son of John and Hannah (Veren) Balch b. abt. 1679 in Beverly, d. abt. 1723 John, son of Benjamin and Sarah (Gardner) Balch, b. Beverly abt. 1654, d. 19 Nov 1738. Benjamin. eldest son of John and Margery Balch, born in the Sagamoreship of Naumkeag during the severe winter of 1628-29. Reputed to be the first born male in the Massachusetts Bay Colony. d. 1672, though this has been challenged. John Balch landed at Wessegusset, now Weymouth, Ma in 1623, one of the "Original Planters of Beverly, MA" His house is still standing and can be seen on the Beverly MA Historical Society web pages.
