Andreas Balch is not mentioned in Galusha Balch's genealogy. The root of this family is with John Balch who arrived in Massachusetts from Somerset, England in 1623. Based on your info, if Andreas is related it is through a lineage not necessarily unrelated, but unknown to me.
The book, to the best of my knowledge, is no longer in print. The New England Historical and Genealogical Society www.NEHGS.org has copies for loan or purchase and you may want to try interlibrary loan also.
