You wrote on 12/18/00 asking if I knew of an Annie Bakken from Minnesota. Sorry it has taken me so long to answer.
Yes, I personally knew my great Aunt Anna Bakken born in 1897 and she died in 1983. She went by the name Annie sometimes. She was married to Hartford Lemon and they had one son Claude. This Anna lived in Brainerd, MN from '47-'77.
I also had a great, great aunt Aunna Bakken who married Dan Alden. She was born in the 1800s and died 1-2-1960 at the age of 82. She and Dan lived on North Humboldt Avenue in Mpls, MN until in the 50s. She then moved to Calif to live with a daughter.

My grandma was Edna Bakken Thorson born in 1904. She was a half sister to Anna Lemon.
Marie Bakken was a mother to Edna, Ruth and Anna and lived in Wisconsin, Brainerd, Minnesota and then later in California.
