During the week February 07-13, 1774, Solomon BAKER, age 21 (born about 1753), from Ludlow, Shropshire, England, a bricklayer, boarded the ship "Letitia" as an "indentured servant" at the Port of London (England) and sailed for the Americas. He made landfall in Maryland.

His family included parents Abraham BAKER & Elizabeth HARRIS, and children Elizabeth, Christening/08-08-1749, Ludlow; Abram, C/03-18-1752, Ludlow; Solomon, b/abt/1753, C/05-31-1755, Ludlow; Eleanor, C/06-25-1757, Ludlow; Mary, C/02-22-1761, Ludlow; and Thomas, C/11-12-1762, Ludlow.

Solomon may have served in the American Revolution and may have moved to Pennsylvania prior to 1785.

I will appreciate any information leading to the subsequent travels and settlement of this Solomon BAKER. Thank you. Jim Johnson.
