Not sure if this is any help this is all I have of my grandfather:
John Axel Baker
Born in Norway on February 22, 1871, a captain of a ship, he stands 6 ft, he married my grandmother Virginia Raposa, they married on that ship (?) I was told she were 12 when they married, on the way here from portugual, he was married before with 15 children and 7 from my grandmother, who's names are Vicent Baker, John Jr.,Stanley, Emma, Metilda, and my mom Albertina, they all deseased.I have no way inany connection of my grandfather, I feel like I am at a dead stop; I hope this can help you in anyway. He came to Hawaii in 1897.
