I am in hope that I will find someone with information about W.O. and Dovie BAKER in Grant, Alabama around 1922. I found an old letter post marked New Hope and addressed to my Great Grandmother who was living in Bokoshe, Oklahoma I.T. at the time. The letter makes reference to "Uncle Joe" as "being here" and a one page letter from my Great Great Grandfather Isaac Joseph "Joe" Smith to "my daughter" is in the same envelope. We have found this quite intriguing because Dovie Baker refers to my Great Grandmother as "Cousin". My Great Grandmother was Katie Dovie (Smith) Bowers. If there is someone with direct family interest in this letter I am happy to share.
