Jim, my Baker family includes a Solomon too. Family originated England, emigrated to Isle of Wight Co. VA, then some came to Northampton Co and Accomack Co VA on Eastern Shore of VA, some to NC. Some of this Accomack Co VA family later went north to Eastern Shore of MD (Somerset Co and Worcester Co) and E.Shore of DE (Sussex Co)- some from DE then migrated to KY/TN. My Solomon was son of William & Elizabeth (Mills) and died 1804. Had 1 son Edward/Edmund Baker and dau Hetty. Hetty married several times, once to a White. Dates, details not handy at the moment.
