Hi,
Just now read your posting re Edminsters. My great great grandmother, Mary A. Edminster, was the daughter of Joseph Edminster, born abt 1784 in MA & moved to Indiana where he married twice. Joseph was apparently the son of John Edminster (b. 12/18/1746) of Freetown, MA, who married Mary Howland. John's father was James, whose father was James (b. 1664), whose father was John Edminster from Scotland (maybe). All of this is based on the genealogy published by Frank Custer Edminster, Jr., which I found on a Family Tree Maker CD. I've only been able to confirm the Joseph Edminster of Indiana info & on forward thru Mary & her marriage (to John Herron) & children. Do you have any sources or other Edminster info you can share?
