I am looking for info on the Bayes/Baise/Baize/Bays that were in Caswell Co., NC. I believe that they came from Virginia in the 1830/1840's. My gg grandfather was Robert Jackson Bayes. I believe that his father was John Bayes/Baize. I have also found his name spelled Bage on the 1850 census. Any help would be appreciated. email to ebaise@aol.com.
