I have had this story related to me by two different Baize/Baze descendants. They do not have a specific source, dates or names. I can only relate what they stated to me. The person that was the probably the source of the story is deceased. He did extensive research on the Baize/Baze family in Texas. At a meeting of Baizes, I believe it was in Texas, the following story was given.

I have positive proof that 5 brothers (Boaz in Germany) lived in Coblenz/Koblenz, Germany. They owned and operated a newspaper in Coblenz. The government did not like what they were printing and told them to cease the publication. They did not take the warning and did their work at night. The government again caught them and they all 5 boarded a ship for the United States. Three of the brothers died on the trip over.

If anyone can relate this story to names and dates, it would be very helpful.
