Sherry: Howdy, cousin! According to the information in my extensive Hauser family file, I believe that we are sixth cousins, once removed.
For the benefit of the Baity Family Genalogy Forum and even though you and I have exchange some preliminary private e-mail messages, I thought I would share the following information more publicly:
Isom Baity, b. 19 Oct 1804 in Surry [Yadkin] Co., NC, d. 23 Dec 1892 in ??, bur. in Courtney Baptist Church Cem., Yadkin Co., NC
m(1) 11 Mar 1827 in ??, Nancy Plowman, b. 1810 in ?? d. 1852 in ??, bur. in ??
m(2) 30 Nov 1854 in ??, Honor (Wishon) Aetzmon, b. ???? in ??, d. ???? in ??, bur. in ??.
Isom and Nancy had at least one child:
Sarah E. Baity, b. 13 Aug 1840 in Courtney community, Surry [Yadkin] County, NC, m. 29 Apr 1858 in ?? Thomas William Paris, b. 15 Jul 1834, d. 10 Oct 1897, Waughtown, Forsyth Co., NC, bur. 22 Oct 1897 in Waughtown Cem., Forsyth Co., NC. Sarah (Baity) Paris d. 18 Oct 1882 in Iredell Co., NC, bur. 21 Oct 1882 in Holly Springs Baptist Church Cem., Iredell Co., NC.
I have no information of a Henderson I. Baity, however.
The information given above came to me from an experienced and reliable historian and genealogist whom I have met with personally and who lives in Yadkinville, NC -- so, while I have not verified the above information independently, I believe it to be reasonably reliable until proven otherwise.
Isom Baity's parents, David, Sr. and Sarah (Hendricks) Baity, are my 4g-grandparents through their son, Pleasant Baity and his celebrated wife, Harriet Steelman "Granny" (Maynard) Baity.
