Martha C. Baisden was born in Liberty County GA to Josiah Baisden and Mary Dunham. She moved with her parents to Hamilton County FL around 1833. She married P.W. Law in Hamilton County. Her parents died by 1839. She and most of her sisters moved to Brooksville, Hernando,FL around 1845. They settled in a small community named Springhill. She is buried next to her husband in the family cemetery in old springhill.
