There was an Eric Basden in Scotland who did geneaology research on ALL forms of the name Basden. He has passed away and I do not know if any of his direct decendants have kept up with his extensive collection.
I have two sisters that are collecting our family tree information and I will see whether we are the Kent County, England Basdens or not. I do know that my father was born in Hanover, West Ealing (which is now part of the city of London.
By the way, my father's name was George Basden. His parents were Charles Basden and Winnifred (nee Littleton-Woods) and his grandparents were John and Ann Basden. If you look up any Basdens in Canada we are all decendants of Charles and Winnifred who came to Canada in 1921-22.
