Ginny, on the Perry Co., 1850 census David 32, and Maria 33 are listed w/Milton ll, Amos 8, Mary 5 and Henry 3.However, the surname was Beard which threw me off.I think the census taker mistook the surname, because I never heard Beard connected with our branch. With the info from you I'm convinced this is our ancestor.David lists himself as a farmer, born in Ohio and Maria born in Ohio also.In April, I found an IGI for a marriage of Maria and David Baird. When I looked at the microfische, David Baird married Maria Stewart on December 29, 1838 in Warren, Ohio (Trumbull Co.).I notice the name was definitely Baird on the clerk's register. Warren is N.E. Ohio and surprises me.I guess we need to start looking for Stewarts in Trumbull Co.Where did you get Maria's and David's Birth and Death dates?
Regarding Henry Baird=Nancy I found them in 1880 census Hocking Co., Green Twp. p. 76C.
Children were Effie 8, Chas. 7, Essey 4, and Jesse? 1 mo. old.Henry says his mother, Maria was born in Ireland???.He gave his occupation as miner.Nancy says she was born in KY and her parents born in VA.Did you see this census.I found the rest of the brothers on various censuses, but maybe you have them.
Some of the Perry Co. census I have looked at are in bad shape.
I think you and I are second cousins twice removed and Willard Alfred Baird would be my second cousin.
